What is owed
Every pump.fun coin pays its creator a share of each trade. That SOL piles up in two vaults the creator must collect by hand: one for the bonding curve, one for the PumpSwap pool after migration. BACKPAY derives both vault addresses from your wallet and reads them on mainnet. The figure shown is what you can withdraw today, after the vault's rent reserve.
The transaction
One legacy transaction, you as the only signer and fee payer. In order: pump collect_creator_fee, PumpSwap collect_coin_creator_fee into your WSOL account, a close that unwraps the WSOL to SOL, the BACKPAY fee transfer, and the memo backpay. It is simulated on mainnet before Phantom opens.
Fees and records
BACKPAY takes 5% of what you collect, inside the same transaction, and the split is printed on the cheque before you sign. After it confirms, the server reads the transaction back from the chain and books it in the register from its own balance changes. The page never trusts an amount sent by the browser.
